About the Role
We’re now hiring motivated Sales Development Representatives to help accelerate growth of our revolutionary Smart TMS platform.
What you’ll do
As an SDR at Hwy Haul, you’ll play a critical role in our growth, responsible for identifying, qualifying, and engaging prospects, and scheduling qualified meetings/demos for our sales executives.
Your daily activities will include:
- Researching, identifying, and prospecting potential customers within targeted industries (Food, Fresh Produce, Retail, Manufacturing, Distribution, etc.).
- Engaging leads through emails, calls, LinkedIn, and other outreach channels to effectively position Hwy Haul’s unique value proposition.
- Conducting initial discovery conversations to identify customer pain points, business goals, and qualification criteria.
- Scheduling qualified meetings and product demonstrations with senior sales executives.
- Collaborating closely with Marketing and Sales teams to execute targeted outreach campaigns.
- Using CRM (e.g., HubSpot/Salesforce) consistently to track activities and manage pipeline growth.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of successful experience in Sales, Business Development, or similar customer-facing roles. Previous SaaS or Logistics/Transportation industry experience is highly preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
- Proven ability to prospect, engage, and build relationships with customers across multiple channels (email, phone, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, self-driven individual comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce, FreshSales, etc.) and other outreach tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Apollo.io, Outreach.io).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
